We're launching Hockey Heroes this July at Carlisle Hockey Club! Hockey Heroes is a fun and welcoming programme for children aged 5-8 years old that aims to develop both their physical and character ‘superpowers’, unlocking the hero inside them through hockey!

More specifically, Hockey Heroes is an 8 week hockey programme aimed at beginners that not only focuses on helping children develop some physical hockey superpowers such as dribbling, passing and goal scoring, but also places as much emphasis on character development superpowers including teamwork, communication, perseverance and respect.

Our aim is for children to have lots of fun, experience lots of success, and feel like a hero! This will boost their confidence and ensure a positive experience of physical activity and sport that will have a beneficial effect in the rest of their life.

For only £40 your child will receive for 8 fun introductory hockey sessions, 2 sticks and a ball to play with at home plus a personalised t-shirt.

At Carlisle Hockey Club we are running our first Hockey Heroes course this Summer.

Sessions will be every week for 8 weeks from Saturday 01 July (14:30 - 15:30) at Austin Friars School. Sign your child up via this link here, and help us grow our club by telling your non-hockey friends!
